what they forgot to tell you about pregnancy...
glossy hair
13 weeks 4 days - slightly gassy
the good thing is, my hair looks really nice these past few days. so much easier to style! its easier to straighten, and stays straight throughout the day! and it shines too! me like. :)
going to the docs tonight to get the results from the triple test. freaking out slightly.

drip drip drip...
i had the most intense pain in my lower back and right bottom last friday!
it was so bad, i couldn't even walk.
crying with despair, i was frantically searching for someone who specialises in prenatal and postnatal massage.
trust me, this was not an easy feat. i guess because they are rare to begin with, i was unable to make an appointment for that day itself.
thank GOD for FACEBOOK.
i sent out an 'URGENT' status update message.
and thank GOD for experienced mom-to-be's.
and i got the number of this lady 'Kak Ani'.
she was a lady with magic fingers! after an hour plus of excruciating massaging to un-twist my muscles and nerves...i could walk again!
it was quite funny. she looked at my (growing) belly...and she said, "this is going to be a boy. looking at how your belly is growing"...:)
however, my "relieve and happiness" was rather shortlived...because a bad bout of stomach flu followed ensued.
i couldn't sleep at all that night. i was throwing up and purging water. i felt so tired and weak.
by 5am, i had to wake mcdreamy up. and when he didn't know what to do, i told him to get mrs mumsie (thankfully we were sleeping over at my parents that night).
one look at me...and she said that i have to go to the hospital.
i hate hospitals.
hospitals mean needles.
needles mean...MORE PAIN!
so yes. i was put on the drip. and it was so BORING waiting for the bag of saline water+glucose to finish. i felt like strangling myself with the tube.
thankfully i felt much better after that.
and that was my super drama weekend...*sigh*...
p/s: still no news on my blood test.

A nice doa...
ooOoo...found a nice doa online!

back at work!
13 Weeks - mildly nauseaus and hungry
today is my 3rd day back to work! so far, it has been ok. tiring, but ok.
i was really nervous to go back to work, as i didn't know what to expect:
YES...i still have my job.
SO FAR...most people have been very nice.
NOT REALLY...that many questions.
I DID NOT...divulge too much information.
PROMOTION? God knows.
but because of the pregnancy...and being back at work. the first day was really tough. i was so exhausted, that as soon as i got home...i just collapsed at 8.30pm and slept all the way through to morning.
the 2nd day was a bit better (maybe due to the excessive sleep i had). and the best news is...i didn't feel like throwing up! i am not sure if it is because i actually had no time to think about it or was it because it was due to end.
so i am hoping for a good day today.
whatever it is, thank GOD for maternity pants. :)
btw - it has been 11 days since i sent in my blood for the triple test. no news. trying not to be anxious. *sigh*

i was really nervous to go back to work, as i didn't know what to expect:
- do i still have a job?
- what would others think?
- will there be many questions?
- because i am such a blabbermouth, will i give away too much details?
- do i want to share certain things that i don't really want to share...but because i am a blabbermouth...i will? (confusing)
- will i still get promoted as promised??
