couple spa - v-day part 2

woke up this morning with high anticipation...
going to the spa with mcdreamy!
i love going to the spa...i love getting massges...i love being pampered. there's just something so delectably delicious about it...
this was however, mcdreamy's first time.
a spa virgin...:)

at 1030am, an excited mcdreamy came to pick me up.
we arrived at the spa (in mont kiara). it was actually at the same place as the 'bijou' cafe, which i have always wanted to go to. as we walked up the stairs, i could smell the aromas of spices and herbs. nice.
felt instantly calm.

we were then led to the female and male changing rooms. changed into the provided bath robe and disposable panties (thank God its not one of those g-string types). however, i still managed to rip. thankfully, it was at a "strategic" place, and therefore still concealed my bits.

then, i was led into the steam room. when i made the appointment, i did ask if mcdreamy and i will be in the same steam room...and i was assured that it will be separate. to my surprise, as i made way through the steam...he was there! sitting in the claustrophobic small space filled with steam, in his shorts.

i almost burst out laughing when she said...i can take off my bath robe and hang it on the hook. no siree...

i like steam baths. however, i am not one to stay long in one. something about the small, confined space and the feeling of breathlessness as the steam clogs up my airways. so after 10 mins, we moved on to the next thing.

while they prepared the couple room (part of the couple pavilion), we sat out on the deck, enjoying the peacefulness, while seeping our teas. nice.

then, we were led into the room into 2 separate sections. and then, the body scrub and massage ensued.

delicious. felt so relaxed. it was a relaxing aromatherapy balinese massage. i really like it. however, mcdreamy found it a bit...painful. maybe its cause he is not used to massaging, whereas i am addicted to it.

after it was completed, we had another cup of tea, with some sparkling juice. then, we went to our respective changing rooms.

horror of horrors! i lost my locker key! i FELT it in my bathrobe pocket before entering the changing room. i went to the loo..and it disappeared! retraced my steps, checked every nook and cranny, to no avail. thankfully, they had a spare key...

all in all...i thoroughly enjoyed it. am considering another visit. maybe the shiatsu massage.
