my throat feels like its burning. and my voice sounds hoarse.
but it was worth it!!!!!
3 hours of belting out ballads, latest hits, ol' skool pop songs at 'red box', the curve.it was quite a blast.
mcdreamy & i, mr man & miss ama and mr zal & miss yaz.
quite amazing. miss ama and i managed to last through & through some songs that were QUITE difficult (like 'no one' - alicia keys!)
left 'red box' and my ears were ringing!
my voice was all worn out.
it's funny how in karaokes, we tend to sound better than we really are.
it could be because you are almost deaf anyway from the loud music and amplified sounds of your voice (almost with an echo!) in a small confined space. but seriously!
notes you never thought you could reach. somehow you "think" that you are reaching it...but due to the "deafness" that i was describing earlier, we might not actually have "hit" the note.
hehehe. but then, the room IS sound proof.
