busy weekend?

i officially need a break from my weekend break.

dead tired.

Saturday

woke up, filled with full resolve to work out. took out my Special Edition Prevention Magazine/Book, which had all the workout programs.

so i folded down the pages for 'morning workout', 'yoga postures', 'leg workout', 'pilates for abs workout', 'rear workout', 'thighs workout'.

after reading the instructions, i said to myself, "seems easy enough".

then, my meg cabot book was calling out to me.

hmmm...a page won't hurt.

i ended up reading half the book, which by then was too late for me to workout!

i wish that i can get fit and toned just be reading exercise books. *ponder*

i went down to have breakfast with mrs mumsie...i also had a makeup trial appointment at 12pm with sharon wei (wedding isle) in hartamas.

sipped through 350ml of herbalife shake while chatting with mrs mumsie. didn't realise that the clock was ticking. and realised that it was already 1130am! so, rushed to shower.

ended up being 1/2 hour late for my appointment. yikes.

when i arrived, i was pleasantly surprised at how sharon was a very nice, warm and pretty lady! she made me feel very comfortable (even though i looked a sight, without makeup...just moisturiser to prep my skin for the trial). i roughly gave her an idea of what i am striving for...and she was totally in synch!

she started off with an "oriental" look for the nikah ceremony. very simple, just eyeliner kinda look, which played mainly with eye liner. it was very a'la Audrey Hepburn, where the eyeliner is turned up at the tail ends of the eyes. and for the first time, i had pale lipstick on. and i liked it!!

unfortunately, i forgot to take a picture of that.

for sanding ceremony, she just removed the eye liner tail and proceeded to create a more dramatic, smoky look. loved it! seeng as the theme is 'shades of purple', the lipstick had a more purple tint to it. this time, i took pictures of it when i got home.

very happy with the overall look, however a bit concerned about the foundation colour. thought it was a bit..."white"? the picture on the left is taken with the flash and the one on the right without.

i am 90% towards confirming sharon as my makeup artist.

then, in the evening...went to the curve to book mcdreamy's ring. chose a nice one from diamond and platinum. put down a deposit for it, and hopefully will be ready in a month! yahoo!

later that night, went out for miss ray ray's belated birthday dinner at kokopelli cafe in pj. very quiet and nice place. after dinner, we played taboo! it was so much fun. girls vs. guys. we lost. but it's ok. this will be the beginning to many more "game nights". time to invest in board games. pictionary, cluedo, monopoly...etc.

Sunday

seeing as it's almost 12 midnight and to cut the story short...

1. had breakfast at sri nirwana's with mrs mumsie and lil bro
2. went to garden's mid valley from 1030am till 330pm! gosh, my knees were flaring up from all the walking in my shoes...unfortunately, didn't buy anything. maybe that's why i feel even more tired than usual.
3. had drinks with mrs soapy and mcdreamy at rasta
