my boo-ks

i have been staring at the mess in my room for weeks now.
ok, it's not like crazy messy.
but i just have SO MUCH STUFF (and no, i am not talking about clothes) that i don't have any space left.

mrs mumsie told me that i need to get rid of the clutter. the old stuffs/memorabilia/hoarded junk.

i can't help it! i hoard! everything has a "sentimental" value to it.

mrs mumsie i have removed my teddies from the cupboard. teddies i had since i was a wee little one. sad, but surprisingly not memorably heart breaking. maybe because i still have some faithful ones that i push off the bed when i go to sleep...:)

i have been "considering" removing my books next. i have kept all my books since i started reading (albeit the "casualties" compromised by my little brother). it is painful though. i still stand that books will one day be obsolete. and kids will be reading on their phones/computers/TVs! or worst. they won't read.

but there is still the problem of clutter in my room (and in the store downstairs). i think i have about 5 big boxes of books. how do i give away my enid blytons! and christopher pikes! and r.l. stines! damn...

i will definitely choose a weekend and go through all the books. i might be able to "reduce" the number of hoarded books.

check out this space for a book sale.

hmm...or should i hold a garage sale instead...
