my ongoing conquest...

referring to my previous post again & again (simply because this is an ongoing conquest), i need a new pair of jeans.
good news:
  1. i have lost weight, which warrants a new pair...because all the jeans i own are 'slouching' in an ugly way.
  2. i can buy a new pair of jeans...which means...SHOPPING!
there are SOME brands which are "kind" to curvier people (e.g. Gap)
bad news:
  1. i am still plagued with the big bum big thighs problem.
  2. my fave brand, 7 for all mankind...is way too expensive in malaysia (bought my previous pair in singapore).
  3. MOST brands cater for skinny, chopstick legs and no behinds.
so, i went to gap today...and shortlisted a few pairs which i thought was very nice indeed...

Low Rise Bootcut
Pros: This was a very flattering cut on me. Loved the dark colour and no-whiskers look. Definitely my first choice
Cons: Still leaves a gape at the waist. might send it in for alteration.

Curvy Boot Cut
Pros: This was MADE for curvy bodies like yours truly! No waist gape! And very slimming effect!
Cons: Higher waist. i am just not used to wearing high cut jeans. this cuts across my tummy. so, if i were to purchase this...it will be with for for formal purposes.

there is another one, which i didn't try...their new 'Low Rise Bell Jeans'.
The jeans are...a bit on the pricey side (more than RM200 each), but could be very well worth it.
but before buying this, i will also check out Guess, Esprit, Levi's (can't fit into them)

wish me luck everyone.
and may my learnings and findings assist you in finding YOUR perfect pair.
