tonight...the final-est leg! [Update]

ahh...an opportunity for mcdreamy and i to spend some time together. cheering on our favourite team (any but the Phillipines team)...so who is going to win the amazing race asia 3??

after 10 weeks (or issit 11?) of racing, it has reached the crucial time for the final 3 teams to fight their way to the final-est pit stop!

the final 3 teams are:
ida nerina & tania
the other malaysian team (besides henry & bernie), who initially annoyed the s*** out of me. i was biased, because i didn't like ida nerina. however, after the last 3-4 legs they have earned my respect.

these two characters who are usually high on something (they are endlessly giggling their heads off!), had the dexterity and wonderful teamwork to emerge as the 1st or 2nd team after being the last team twice in a row! they even had their money taken!

so yes. kudos to them. i will give credit where it belongs.
go team Malaysia!

geoff & tisha
this phillipino couple are my least favourite. annoying beyond my wits (especially geoff!), they are annoyingly strong (albeit some sissy moments by geoff) and annoyingly MEAN (though i suppose that is the whole point of this game).

good sportsmen, they are not.
but strong players, that they are.

i don't want them to win. because it is fine to play the game. but it is not fine for geoff to be rude to the taxi drivers, and the other teams. "hurry hurry hurry" in an impatient tone just puts me off. oh. and he has chicken legs.

sam & vince
the hong kong team has a good chance of winning. throughout the race, they have been pretty consistent at their good performance. both equally strong, and with wonderful team work...i wouldn't mind them winning.

their most memorable moments usually consist of sam (the short) doing something funny.

Tattoo for Fast Forward
sam: oh no. this is against my religion. and my beliefs. i can't get a tattoo...
(vince is getting his tattoo done)
sam: oh well, i guess i will do it for this race. :p
(emerges with the tiniest tattoo ever)

fast forward to the pit stop
allan: oh! so, you guys got the tattoo! show 'em to me...
(seconds later)
allan: whoa sam! what IS that!?

sam: viince...i can't do it vince. i can't.
vince: no, sam. there is NO giving up!
sam: vince...please vince...i can't do it vince...aaah (slowly sliding back to the middle)

so silly. but hopefully he will become more of a man in the final-est leg.

[Update] The HONG KONG Buddies won the race! Bravo bravo! though not very well played by sissy sam...luckily vince was the strong-er one! a bit of a shame that Ida & Tania didn't win...but at least it's not the Phillipinos! woo hoo!
