hit the spot...


this is my new exercise obsession.
denise austin's hit the spot pilates workout dvd.
in it, there are 7 segments targeting different "spots" of your body.
  1. core
  2. waistline
  3. power abs
  4. hips
  5. thighs
  6. bum
  7. pilates challenge
each segment (excl. pilates challenge) lasts for about 10 mins.

i have never really tried the first 3 segments. simply because the "spot" i would like to "hit" are from the "lower region"!
so, on alternate mornings, i do segments 4 to 6.

after 3 sessions, i saw a major difference on my thighs. it didn't downsize much, but it looked tone-r and sleek-er! woo hoo!

the actual moves are quite challenging (especially in the mornings) but do-able. for me, out of the 3, the bum segment is probably the hardest (i always get butt cramps).

on a side note...

i was trying on an outfit...and as usual checked my 'bum profile' (holding up my vanity mirror with my back facing another mirror. this is so that i can see the reflection of the other mirror IN the vanity mirror....get it?). i almost fainted when i saw the monstrous ass looking back at me.

this calls for drastic measures (wait a minute...doesn't this sound familiar?!)

healthier eating is called for.
must do AT least 10-15 mins of exercising EVERYDAY.

*sigh*
