food poisoning & yoga



grrr...was it the duck and mango salad? the rojak mamak?
i don't know...
i DO know that i woke up at 5 a.m. and purged my way to dooms land...
dressed up for work, while taking loo breaks, trying to figure out how to drive to work (hoping there is no traffic jam!)...
went down for breakfast, feeling queasy.

mrs mumsie said that i look a bit pale.

'nuff said. i ran up to visit "john" again.

made a call to NOT go to work.

especially after mrs mumsie pointed out that there are water cuts in KL! and KLCC might be affected...that definitely confirmed me NOT going to work.

spent the morning working on my decks due for presentation tomorrow (which was cancelled! yay and boo?). either way, it is completed.

stomach still pretty much unsettled.
come noon, mrs mumsie said she is going to 1 utama for lunch with mrs jammie. delicious. she asked me to go as well. considering my unsettled stomach, i was a bit hesitant. but due to the purging of my insides, i am so hungry! so the 1 utama i went.

while waiting for duck confit spaghettini, i escaped to the "little girls" a few times. thankfully the loos were clean and "dry". i just HATE WET PUBLIC TOILETS. so, wasn't too bad.
had my duck confit spaghettini (hmm, just realised that i had duck 2 days in a row!). it was yummy and i was ravenous. ate the plate clean. nice.

so far, so good. tummy is not complaining.

just as if, it heard me...when i arrived home...it was the loo again!

however, it was the last one (thank God!).

slept in the evening cause felt so drained. as my earlier post stated...i was supposed to go for yoga in the evening. supposed to go for "gentle flow" at 730pm with miss ni ni.

checked the scheduler, and decided to go for "hatha 1" at 615pm with miss ni ni. thought the yoga would be good to massage my internal organs (sounds gross..i know)...and hopefully release whatever toxins i have in me.

miss ni ni used to teach at my previous yoga class with mrs july. this is the first time i am attending her class at yogazone.

have to say! either because i have been LAZY and my muscles are all stiff OR the class was actually really challenging! but i thoroughly enjoyed it. i did feel the knots in my shoulders disappearing.

my thighs were BURNING at each warrior pose.

forget the balancing postures! my mind was all over the place that i couldn't even to a simple balancing pose, much more stretching WHILE balancing.

this means only ONE thing. i really need to step up with my yoga!

hope to catch mr dennis for "slimhot" on wednesday.
what is slimhot?
it is doing yoga in a room, which is heated to about 39 degrees celcius. it is meant to detoxify you further by making you sweat. because of the heat, you are also able to stretch further into the postures (which can be dangerous!). but the classes are always very gratifying. i really love 'em.
mr azmi is also doing "yogadance" on friday, which i am hoping to catch! (friday is a public holiday! yay!)

what is yogadance?

it starts off with some stretches/warm ups. then, it is basically a bit of choreography work, infused with yoga postures.

so far, i tried it with mrs nanci drew. it was so much fun! i really miss dancing...
