it is the year to be frugal.
it is also time to come clean.
in all my life...i have NEVER saved.
not for anything.

NEVER saving + ALWAYS shopping....
...is probably the reason why i was always broke in my uni years.

but 2009 is all about changing (for me at least).
and therefore, the one new thing i will do this year is....

TO SAVE.

every month, i will be putting aside 15% of my salary.

and this time, i will try my darndest to be super disciplined and go to the bank every 2 months to deposit my savings into my asb.

and hopefully, this will mean MORE MOOLAHS for me!

especially when i found out how much i have to pay for income tax...*gulp*...

& the best thing is...despite putting aside some savings and my monthly commitments, i still have a little extra cash to pacify the shopaholic in me. *big smile*

which is good, cause my other new thing for 2009 is...

TO SHOP LESS.

lunchtime will no longer be dedicated to shopping.
and goes the same to weekends.
will only shop for bargains and sales.
will remain fashionable by investing in accessories.
will keep to my budget.
