new shoes and salsa...

i actually wanted to write about my weekend...but i was actually "busy" at work...so, had to postpone it till now.

went to Courts Megastore in Mutiara Damansara with Mcdreamy, to check it out. it is supposed to be a new IT store. was quite keen to look at laptops. ended up buying a new modem + wireless router. and now, my internet is finally STABLE.

reco: if you are on streamyx, best that you get Aztech's modem + wireless router. apparently, its 'streamyx approved'.

in the afternoon, had high anticipation.

was going for salsa! (i was actually not feeling well...but it's salsa?!)

a monthly party held in tmn tun's salsa school - havana estudio.

now...salsa needs a special kind of shoe to dance in. something that has a supporting back and ankle straps.

wanted to avoid the traffic in 1 utama, so went to the curve instead. was hoping to find something at primavera. how disappointing! nothing! next stop was metrojaya. also nothing! remembered, there was this other shop...'edward forrer' on the 1st floor.

saw a really nice tan leather heels. tried it on. felt comfy and most importantly, stable. looked at the price. RM200+! yikes...a bit steep...

went to other shops, but failed to see anything else. in the end, i went back to 'edward forrer' and closed my eyes as i handed over 4 RM50 bills and a bit.

Salsa Night

before going for salsa, mcdreamy and i went to his small school reunion gathering at one of his friend's house. didn't stay long, since we had to go for salsa.

met miss ray ray and mr mellow.

when we arrived, we jumped into the basic lessons they were giving on salsa and merengue. it was quite fun! i have done salsa quite a bit in UK, so i was not too bad.

it was actually mcdreamy's first time salsa-ing. he was so cute! but after a while, he was actually pretty good...:)

best of all, he had fun. and so did i!

we left pretty early...about 1030 or so. and made our way to rasta.

rasta's last night

it's quite sad that rasta will be moving to somewhere further (ok, not THAT far...but no longer a minute drive from my house). this was the place we fell in love, fought, cried, laughed, had the best 'shisha' sessions...a lot of fond memories.
