why?
1. exercise without diet - would most likely mean that you will maintain your weight...or worse...put on weight. reason being muscle weighs more than fat...or you might not be exercising enough to burn the calories you took in (output not equalling to input).
2. diet without exercise - this could lead to a false sense of "weight loss". you WILL lose weight if you eat less. however, you will lose muscle and just have body fat (remember...muscles weigh more than fat). this will make you look flabby (but skinny).
but again...this is easier said than done. i am the perfect example!
been on numerous diets/exercise programs...but when i don't see immediate results...i get very demotivated and resume unhealthy snacking.
thing is...my wedding is exactly 4 1/2 months away. i need to lose 5-10 kgs (5 being more realisic compared to 10)!

his diet has 3 phases to it.
phase 1: lasts for 2 weeks and is the strictest period of the diet.
phase 2: also lasts for 2 weeks, and can introduce one forbidden item each day.
phase 3: forever. this is where you SHOULD have changed your lifestyle and diet.
on top of this...he also prepared an extremely vigorous exercise program.
he says, "there are no excuses". if you can't do the 45mins...do the extra challenging 10 mins.
whatever it is...you must be consistent.
interesting.
so, i am quite psyched to try it out. but i don't think i will start it yet.

phase 1 diet
avoid the following A,B,C,D,E and F foods. pic below reflects all the below (except for A).
B-bread (the hamburger bun)
C-starchy carbs (fries...carrots are starchy carbs too!) & coffee (noooooooooooooooooooo!)
D-dairy (cheese)
E-extra sweets (cola)
F-fruits (high glucose) + unhealthy fats (the burger patty)
most importantly is not to "obsess" with the don'ts. instead focus on the dos.
2. salmon or tuna (yum!)
3. chicken breast (skinless...but still yum!)
4. nuts - like raw almonds. recommended to take 10 a day (err...)
5. mushrooms (yum!)
6. celery (yum! but can i have it with dip?)
7. egg whites - recommended to make a dozen hard-boiled eggs and eat the whites when hungry (yum!)
8. asparagus (yum!)
9. spices (yum!(
phase 2 diet
as mentioned, you can start introducing other foods.
1. beans
2. berries
3. sweet potatoes (yay!)
4. lentils
5. apples (yay!)
and if you are always on the move and in a rush...go for protein shakes. this is where herbalife will come in handy.
oh! and in this phase...if you have to eat carbs. have it before 2pm.
and do not eat after 7pm. if you missed your dinner. you missed your dinner.
yikes...its 743pm. and i haven't had my dinner.
heck it.

adoii... i think my fats weigh more than my muscles! definitely! no exercise...eat anything i can think of. hmmm... i need to start on sumthing too! andd... tomorrow onwards i'm starting on a coffee free diet...hehehe and no other drinks except plain warm water. it should help my skin to be more radiant. sooo... we will see if it works!by the way... i'm very interested in the spray product u told me about yesterday at rasta. we'll see if it work on you then i might want to use it too! hehehe *smile*
