oh my...not a good day.
it started out fine...
woke up and took out 'the ultimate new york diet' and attempted to do the 45-minute cardiosculpting programme.
there were about 5,000 steps to follow (of course this is an exaggeration).
i managed 8. and THAT took me 30 mins.
*ouch*
then, had my Herbalife shake for breakfast.
mrs mumsie bought some soy milk for me as an alternative to normal milk.
i know i am not supposed to take dairy...but during the first 3 days i had no choice (and also it is disgusting to have the Herbalife shake with just water).
so, had that...thankfully it tasted fine.
now, comes the downfall.
mcdreamy called me at 11am to remind me of an kenduri aqiqah that i had to attend. yikes! which means i would have to eat rice (which is usually cooked with ghee), and fatty meat (like lamb...yummmm...and chicken doused in sauce).
the thing about the Malay custom is that...you cannot decline any food offers when visiting. it is rude to do so.
so when we arrived, i had a biiiiiit of rice, some lamb and a piece of chicken.
did not feel so guilty.
HOWEVER, i lost to the sweets (E-extra sweets).

i will NOT feel bad about what i ate.
it may be a fall back. but this does not mean that i am OFF the plan!
reading up the book again on situations like this.
