
i broke the rules of phase 1.
i had C (starchy carbs) for lunch.
this is how the story goes...
my usual lunch hour is 12 noon (not company's official time, which is 1pm). then, i will be back by 1pm. i just prefer to have an early lunch...because by 12 noon i will be hungry.
however, today...i had 3 eggs. so i was not TOO hungry. and miss mo mo was still in a meeting.
by 1.10pm, miss mo mo is still not out! mr al wanted to eat at the hainanese restaurant (where i usually feast on a prawn mihun). didn't want to "impose" my diet on others...so i said ok...hoping that there is something that i can eat there (without starchy carbs).
looked at the menu. there really is nothing i can eat there!
but stomach is grumbling.
therefore, for these 2 reasons:
1. didn't want to "impose"
2. stomach crying
i took the dish that seems the most innocent. chicken mushroom noodles. it is actually wantan noodles (which is just flour!!).
when the dish arrived...i was prepared to just have the chicken (and mushroom!)...after finishing that...i was still hungry. and the noodles were so tempting. i mean...really really tempting...
to the point of it "dancing" in front of my eyes...a'la snake charmers.
so i had a first bite. then the second. next thing i knew, it was gone! all of it...
ok...so i COULD have NOT gone for lunch with them. instead i could have bought a chicken salad from the supermarket.

i DID go to the supermarket after that...and bought some green tea and peppermint tea.
i feel less guilty...
