S.O.S

i am asked to go for a magazine launch tonight (by mcdreamy). social niceties are something i am...not good at? it's not that i am unfriendly or unsociable...but i guess sometimes i am just too lazy for small talk. so, i am hoping that there is at least good music on tonight. because if there is one thing i miss from my youth (ok ok, i am actually still within this "segment") is my dancing days (or nights).

so, as usual mcdreamy will give me LAST MINUTE INFO! apparently, tonight's dress code is..."EDGY".

wtf?!

i don't OWN anything "EDGY", as i like to dress myself...casually-elegantly-femininely-stylishly...and all that other -ly's. so, after gym last night, i started raiding my closet. and it IS true. i DO HAVE MANY CLOTHES. but nothing "EDGY".

i do have this vest, which i bought online from styliciousclique. thing is, this will only look nice with a longer tank top and tight tight black pants (it's tight..not by design...but because i have a "generous" bottom half).

While driving to work, i started to mentally raid my wardrobe again. hoping that i will remember a piece of item that i missed out. or something that can be used with something that i might be able to find in KLCC. to no avail.

Until i remembered what i was wearing to work!

edgy? if this works...i will probably just search for a white tank top or tube top to go with this. oh and some funky long necklace.

OR...i could just go find something completely different. shops to attack:

1. Topshop - known for said "EDGY"-ness
2. Mphosis in Isetan - never actually bought anything from here, but always saw BRIGHT colours
3. MNG - last resort...even though i've seen everything in the shop
4. Khazanah - for said "funky" jewellery?
