my heart froze. oh my God...bad news...
did he accidentally spilt something rotten all over my shoes? did he owe a gazillion ringgit? did he lose his job? *gasp* did he MEET SOMEONE ELSE??
"i will be away for a week next week"
pfft. big deal! it is just 4 days and 3 nights!
or so i thought.
when my parents (and his) found out he won't be around for a week, they made a mini fuss about me staying alone in the apartment. mrs mumsie was pestering me tp stay over (though i do think it's because she really wants me more than anything else).
what they do not know is, everytime i "move from my element", i will need to bring along my "whole life" with me too:

and i am pretty sure i left some things out.
so, i was pretty adamant to stay by myself.
that was before i had "the dream".
My friends and i were in a hotel. mrs sopie and i shared a room, whilst miss ray ray and miss nana shared another. little did we know, that our room (mrs soapie and mine) were haunted! freaky stuff started to happen like the shower turning on and off by itself, things started flying around...you know, the typical ghost-y things. i was shouting out some prayers, and urged mrs soapie to do the same, but she was crying too much. i got out my blackberry and started dialing for my mom. but "the ghost" took my phone and flung it into a puddle of water, which obviously busted my phone! (i was quite upset about that).
when i recountered the dream to my friends, miss na na HAD to mention, "you know miss suzie, there are these 'ghosts' or 'beings' that goes around looking for lone women to rape them in their sleep!".
thanks miss na na. that totally helped my resolve to stay alone while he was gone.
Night 1
the girls wanted to meet up on my first night with him away. and seeing as i was still very resolved to stay on my own (despite the dream), i invited them to come over to the apartment instead.
ordered nandos (did you know you can do delivery for this??).
mcdreamy was always the one to pick up the delivery when it arrives. so, when they arrived, i had NO IDEA where to wait for the delivery man. so, i waited at the front door for at least a good 5-8 minutes. when there was no sign, i tried walking to the front of the block.
that was when i saw the 'nandos' motorbike.
"mr. nandos guy?" miss ray ray laughed hysterically at this...
when i circled to the other side of the block...i saw him (and a guard) walking towards the front door.
and that was when i started running furiously, while shouting "excuse me, mr. nandos guy!". i bet it was quite a sight.
Note: Forgot to mention this earlier, but i was wearing a loose shirt with loose yoga pants. think road sweeper. yes.
after the girls left around 11pm, i was determined to sleep by myself in the apartment.
as soon as i shut the door, i started hearing noises. crap. it's always like that though isn't it. your senses heightens at the same rate as your fear.
locking myself in the room, i switched on enough lights to flood a stadium, put on a F.R.I.E.N.D.S dvd, and positioned all the pillows around me (so that i don't feel so empty and alone).
darn. it is just far too bright to sleep. so, the lights had to go.
darn. it is just far too noisy. so, the tv was switched off.
blinking in the dark, i heard more noises.
closing my eyes tight, and trying to think about mcdreamy and our "happy moments"...i finally dozed off.
Night 2
and that was when i succumbed. the next morning, i packed "my whole life".
being back at my parents was weird. ok, maybe not being back at my parents cause we are there AT LEAST once a week. but, being back in my room was definitely weird.
my room, which doesn't look and feel like my room anymore, was missing that cosiness (and my bedside lamp!).
but it definitely said something, when i managed to sleep oh-so-peacefully...with no dreams whatsoever.
Night 3
so tonight, is my last night being
i think they are also happy with me being around.
anyway, he is coming back tomorrow.
and i have a list of things i would like to do to him as soon as i see him...
now now. this is a PG13 rated blog (sort of).
